We’ve had some warm weather the past couple of days and it looks like it’s going to stay that way through Saturday. Calling for colder temps and lake effect by Sunday. Trails are wearing thin and getting dirty in spots. There is still a fair amount of snow in the woods where it is a bit more shaded, but the trails are taking a bit of a hit. Some people are still out riding, but we’re seeing much less traffic than in weeks past. Doesn’t look like any significant changes until Sunday at the earliest. Will update as changes occur.

TRAIL CONDITIONS: Very Good to Excellent

The groomers have been out working their magic on the trails. The trails are looking very good even with the heavy weekend traffic, the snow is a little thin in the Fife Lake area and there is a few spots where dirt is showing. The riding is excellent and the riders seem to be happy.

Remember all of our groomer drivers are volunteers, and most of them are snowmobilers giving up some riding time to groom so that you have groomed trails to ride on, so if you get a chance tell them thank you or a thumbs up, it means alot to them to know they are appreciated. Make sure to pick up one of our trail maps, we have some out on the trails in mailboxes at some map board locations and at our map sponsors. Support our sponsors and when you visit one of them tell them thank you for supporting GTASC

Greetings Sledders,

Come on up, but our advice to you is to leave your sleds at home. The game is pretty much over for the time being.

It truly is disappointing after battling the brush war that Mother Nature gave us along with the ride able snow that she can so quickly take the snow away. She can be brutal indeed.

It’s difficult to say when we’ll get back into the game based on the long term forecasts, but rest assured we will get a report out when something positive is on the horizon. Griff, this is all your fault!!!
