The Lake Gogebic groomers report: With all the new snow we have gotten in the last couple of days trails are in great shape. All trails are in good to very good condition. Groomers are out running continuously on all trails to keep them in the best possible shape. PLEASE REMEMBER TO PULL OVER IF YOU SEE A GROOMER. THEY HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY…
Just a reminder the Bergland Mobil gas station has closed, so plan your fueling accordingly.

The Watersmeet groomers reports: All trails are groomed and are in good to very good conditions. Trails in the Bruce Crossing area are also groomed and are in good condition. Use caution on trail 8 between Trout Creek and Ewen the snow is thinner in this area but still rideable.

Keep in mind groomers can be out day or night so watch out for them and please pull over or slow down and wait for the operator to signal you by.

Please be careful on corners as you know several Michigan Trail signs have been discontinued. These signs are posted on our trail map. PLEASE BE SAFE!!!!

TGIF! A few MORE inches of fresh snow fell overnight, and after getting snow thru the week again, it should be a great weekend out there! Base is good. About 6′ to the south and Bear Lake north into Beulah and further is about 8-10! Beware though – Trail 39 near Wallin Rd has a very large water hole. It is not freezing since there is a flow of water in that area. Slow down and watch it near this section of the trail. Trail 3 from High Bridge all the way to Maple City was groomed yesterday as well Trail 395 into Beulah. Trail 39 will be groomed today. All trails will be groomed again today and early Saturday morning! There is about 10-12′ total snowfall on the ground – yah! Please remember to be aware of the new signage program! Some signs are gone now so you gotta be aware out there! Plus, if ya see a groomer, get outta their way and give them a thumbs up. Make sure to get here this weekend for WINTERFEST! It includes a Snowmobile Poker Run, Chili cook off, fireworks, and lots of other stuff! Awesome winter family fun!
