Munising Area Trail Report – 12/26

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 12/26

Nobody follows the weather like a grooming club and it’s operators. Tomorrow night is looking like our best opportunity to flip and smooth some snow. This has been a rollercoaster year for everyone. Every club was ready for the season, then 2 back to back storms put everyone backwards 3 or more seasons worth of work. Now that most of the trails are close to being back in shape, the warm weather is beating them down. They are still open, but they are not perfect. Use caution as conditions can change. Be prepared to stop as volunteers are still out taking care of the last issues left by the storms. Don’t be mad or upset if trails are not smooth. At least you are still getting miles on your sled! The weather determines the trail conditions. The clubs would like perfect and safe trails for everyone, but mother nature holds the reigns. Be patient as we are all wanting the same thing. Until the weather changes, we all get what we get. Speaking of getting what we get, Santa comes Monday to drop off a present! Here is a little sneak peek!
