TRAIL REPORT – Tuesday, 02-25-2020
MAKING A WARM WEATHER RECOVERY
Grooming Operations resumed last night and overall trail conditions are good with decent riding conditions. Recovery going well but we need fresh snow and a few more passes to get completely back in shape. In general we have a great flat base but snow has become thin and icy in some of the high traffic area corners. In town roads are primarily bare now. Remember our grooming machines run 24 hours so stay alert. Keep the cold weather snow dancing going, Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe! Hard & Icy, we need snow on top of it. Havent heard a sled all day and none were around yesterday despite the fact that I saw a big group of them out by the west parking lot. They must have bypassed Frederic.

So the wait is on , will we get snow, a few inches would make it rideable but be leary of the ice below.

Big John ended up getting shuttled by truck back to Frederic after a 550 mile ride up to Marquette from here. He said trail was totally mud by indian river. Had a call from the u.p. by Grand Marais this morning and they said hard and icy there too. So plain and simple we need new snow. Thats it for today, getting outside stuff done around here while its so nice out. Currently 1 p.m. and 38 degrees.

Todays pic are a little Frederic Inn drooling pics. I took these on Friday night when I was there……Only 4 nites till prime night again….thats why I like Friday and saturday nites down there……..
