Munising Area Trail Report – 02/26

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 2/26

The trail is in really nice shape right now. A little icy in spots so if you have ice scratchers then I recomend you have them down. Other that that it’s beautiful out here right now. Pray for more snow. Should see some lake effect this week yet. Let’s hope it comes. Right on the right and stay safe out there…

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – 2/26

TRAIL REPORT – Wednesday, 02-26-2020
GREAT RIDING – MACHINE DOWN
Overall trail conditions are very good to good with decent riding conditions. Recovery went well but we need fresh snow which is in the forecast. In general we have a great flat base but snow has become thin and icy in some of the high traffic area corners. In town roads are primarily bare. One groomer went down last night blocking a section of Trail 417 and will be for a few days. The Deere will be running overtime so keep an eye out for it. Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe! For more information and an alternate route see our detailed report here: https://www.algersorva.com/trailreport/02-26-2020/

BENZIE COUNTY VISITORS BUREAU

February 26, 2020

Hi all! Well it WAS starting to look good out there but now for several days we have had temps around 40 and sunshine. Trails have some snow but it’s an icy dirt base under it. Groomers won’t be out again till we get snow. So, I am sorry, but it’s not good news again. All we can do is hold out hope for March? Who knows! March has proven to be a snow month in the past sometimes so let’s hope? Thanks for the email Rick! Let’s hope I can say "See ya on the trails" soon! Carol 🙂
