Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 03/23

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 3/23

Glenn Rowe’s last photo by the Vansville Bar sign for the season!

Huge thanks to Glenn and all Operators for a fantastic season!

Trail Boss Buzzy said this morning, “Just got word from the DNR to cease grooming for the rest of the season. Probably would only have the groomers out a couple of times any way be cause of forecasted weather warm up. We had a good season because of the dedication of our team of groomer operators. They did an outstanding job. See you next season stay healthy and enjoy the outdoors. The Trails will remain open until the end of the month”.

Couldn’t agree more Buzzy! Thanks for all YOU do behind the scenes Buzzy, to help make the Keweenaw the best place to ride!

Munising Area Trail Report – 03/23

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 3/23

We regret to inform everyone that between the announcement by our governor today and a week of warm weather coming up that we are ending our grooming operations for this season. That does not mean the trail is closed. It is still open until 4/1. It just means you will not see our die hard operators out on the trail until next season. Our gas stations will still be open. Our restaurants have been ceasing operations. Call ahead or check their Facebook pages to find out if they are open. We will start prepping for summer maintenance and getting ready for next season! We do have one HUGE favor to ask of all of you. When things return to normal, PLEASE visit our sponsoring businesses and thank them by buying their products, food, and gas and help get them back on their feet again so they will be there for you next season! Any little bit helps! Stay safe and thank you for the great season!
