About 5 inches of new snow fell on the island last night. Keep it coming! Cold temps in single digits for the weekend. We need more snow to get the trails ready for good riding conditions, check back for updates.

Friday the 13th. Yep, there – I said it.
Still snowing a little, but didn’t get the snow totals that they were calling for. Cut got maybe between 2-3′, Iggy got maybe 2′.
Trails are iffy, but ridable. everything was covered in an ice base and really slick. This little storm put slide-cooling snow on top. There was some gravel poking through here and there, and I would really like to see another 4-8′ before I can say that you will have good riding for sure. There are some sleds traveling between Moran-Brevort-Trout Lake. Trails are ridable for sure, just treat them as really early season conditions.
I am not sending the groomers out on this storm, and want to see a bit more snow first. Maybe we will get some of the lake effect they are calling for around us. I will update tomorrow to let you know how it came out.
