Paradise Area Trail Report – Paradise Area Night Riders – 12/28

Good Morning…temps up to 20 at 10:00am . down into the single digits at nights…..still no new snow…BUT trails are holding up …some brown in corners..snow is turning into a sugar/rolling base and hard to pack & groom……wont be long before wetlands/swamps will be safe for all riders… We let you know about wet trail openings when i get the reports from the other groomers…

Western U.P. Trail Report – Western U.P. Bureau – 12/28

With temps in the teens and snow showers in the forecast for the next few days this will help firm up the trails.

The Gogebic Range Trail Authority reports: Trail 2 from Ironwood to Marenisco is groomed with some icy and wet spots so use caution. Trail 160 is groomed expect some icy spots along with wet spots. Watch out for the swamp on 160 use caution. Trail 8 is groomed again expect icy spots and some wet spots. 11S will be groomed this weekend conditions permitting. It is still early season riding we need more snow to get the trails in great shape. Be Patient!!!

The Lake Gogebic groomers are out and reporting all trails are rolled expect some wet spots and early riding conditions. More snow is needed to get the trails in great shape.

The Watersmeet groomers have not gone out yet they need more snow.

All areas need more snow…. keep in mind groomers can be out day or night so watch out for them and please pull over or slow down and wait for the operator to signal you by.
