TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – 12/05
GTASC received 8-11 inches around the trail system. The picture is on the trail south of Kalkaska. Trails are typical for early season riding. Please be aware that we had heavy winds last night and we have removed many downed branches and trees that had fallen across the trail. All groomers will be out tomorrow night, please keep an eye out for them. Remember, Ride Right, Ride Safe, Ride Sober.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Heavy snow and bitter cold wind chills are expected to begin tonight and continue through Monday. New snowfall of 4-8” with locally higher amounts are possible by Monday night/Tuesday morning. Wind gusts of 30-45+ mph are expected Monday morning and afternoon.
