Harbor Springs Trail Report – 12/19

WOW!! Look at all the snow we got! Groomers were out Sunday night, Monday morning, cleaning up brush and making the trails nice and smooth for everybody to enjoy. All trails were groomed and we will groom on an as needed basis according to our schedule. Strong winds are in the forecast for the next couple of days, so beware of fallen trees and brush. Have fun and be safe!!

The snow has been falling alot lately!! We have been out grooming and the trails look great.

The snow depths vary from one point to the next , but we have about a 6 to 12 inch base on the trails now.

We have the waterholes filled in and are freezing up nicely. We have strong winds forcasted for the next couple of days so ride safe and be on the lookout for fallen trees and limbs.

We will be grooming on an as needed basis according to traffic and snow conditions. Enjoy the week!!

Drummond Island Trail Report – 12/19

OFFICIAL GROOMERS REPORT – (12/19/16):
West End: The groomer was out on the west end of the Island today. The waterholes on this end of the Island are pretty much frozen now. You may find a rock or two in the areas along the shore where the snow isn’t as deep but all in all the end is n fair condition

East End: STAY AWAY FROM THIS END!!! There are major waterholes and rocky areas. About the only place safe to ride on the east end is on Sheep Ranch Road to Glen Cove and back. The rock ledge by Pin’s is bare too! The waterhole between Greenfield Corner and McCormicks Marsh is really bad too! There is a BIG waterhole by Goetz’s Camp and another one by Dutcher’s camp. There is no way to get to Marblehead without a major waterhole. Seriously stay off this trail.

Remember it takes less than 20 mins for hypothermia to set in once your wet so use extreme caution near these water holes.
