January 9 – Hi all! Happy Monday! Better news at least! We certainly didn’t get a lot of snow with this last little burst but the groomers are out trying to make it flat and nice as they can! If ya see a groomer, get outta their way and give them a thumbs up! They’re out there doing what they can for you! I’m hearing from some riders that it’s not too bad out there! But we are under an advisory for 3-7′ more tonight and tomorrow which is great! However, they also say rain is following that which will be quite a mess if so unfortunately. So – lets hope it stays colder than expected, but as for now that’s what they’re saying. So – will let ya know once it happens as to what it is! Snow snow snow! So, again, I say – keep up the good vibes and prayers that we get more snow and lots of it! We need it! So – till next time – Seeya on the trails, Carol

Paradise Area Trail Report – Paradise Area Night Riders – 01/12

January 12, 2017

13 degrees this morning and partly cloudy. It snowed all day yesterday…hard….looks like we got about a foot!!!!

Groomer Gerald was the only one to run last night. He did the Falls trail #45. He called me this morning ( thanks Jer ) and called it excellent!! Not sure on the schedule for today.

I talked to a few snowmobiliers yesterday and they all said they are having a blast. They did tell me there was a few trees down on the trails from the blizzard we had the day before so watch out for them. Now let me ask you all a favor. If you come upon a tree down could you and a couple of you`re buddies at least try to move it off the trail? It sure would be safer for the other riders out there. If you can`t move it report it to anybody in town at the stores or hotels and they will let us know.

Our blankety blank groomer is still down. A couple guys worked on it all day yesterday and still can`t get it to fire. I offered to bring out my .44 Mag and put her to rest!! We are really gettin in a bind with this one. We are trying our best and are on the phone with a bunch of techs but just can`t figure it out. FRUSTRATED is the nicest word on can use on here!!! Bout all I got fer today. Pray for our broken groomer that it doesn`t meet a firery death!!! Groomer Chris
