Paradise Area Trail Report – Paradise Area Night Riders – 03/01

March 1, 2017

20 degrees this morning and VERY windy. It is snowing HARD sideways right now!!! We are under a winter storm warning until tonight but ‘they’ are only calling for 3 inches….that ain`t no storm for us yoopers, maybe its because of the wind. The next few days are supposed to be cold though, highs around 20 and the lows in the single digits. Now on to the trails……

I did amend my report for yesterday for Feb. 27th on our FB page. We had 2 groomers go out. One went to Pine Stump and the other ran the Point trails. They both turned out good. We kept everything parked yesterday cause it got up to 38 and the trails are already flat. We`ll probably leave them parked today too and let this storm go by and then we`ll be out in full force gettin dem trails ready for ya`lls for this weekend.

Speaking of our FB page. I see alot of comments on there asking if its a good idea to come UP this weekend. Ya know, I`m not going out on a limb and saying absolutely, thats your decision and some people have different opinions on the conditions they like or need. I just report the facts and can guarentee they are the truth.

All I gots fer today. Keep checking back and I`ll report the true facts.

Groomer Chris

Newberry Trail Report – Visit Newberry – 03/01

North Store Follow Me Outfitters – March 1, 2017

I wouldn’t put them their sleds away yet, 2-4″ of fresh snow since about 7:30am. Still coming down and blowing couldn’t tell you how much expecting. Almost over amount predicted so, Keep an eye on temps at night trails flat and hard, but probably real slick in spots. So be careful out there on them trails Eah!! Extended riding predictions good to great. Also keep an eye on hard cold nights ice on inland lakes might get good. Thanks again great winter so far appreciate all use support. Yooper Out! Trusting oneself is foolish, but those who walk in wisdom are safe. Proverbs 28:26
