We groomed trail 8 west of Raco today and Soo to Brimley this evening. Trail from Kinross going west to Rudyard done Sunday. We have gotten 4-6 inches of snow out of the winter storm. The Gogebic Range Trail Authority reports:

12/26/2017

Overall conditions are good, but you will still encounter some wet spots so please use caution. Trail 11S is open, trail 160 is not officially open but riders are ok to ride it. Everything has been groomed Dec.25th.

Lake Gogebic Area Groomer Report:

The last official report was on Dec. 23rd.

Gogebic Area Groomers have been working hard to get the re-routes in place and fix some challenging areas which will make for some good riding right after Christmas.

Groomers were out and able to pack and groom 102 N with the drag, up to North Boundary Rd. There are still some wet spots, they encouraged people to stay off the trails until after Christmas. They are hoping things will firm up with very little traffic.
Other trail highlights include:
Trail 8 West of M-64 are still wet and have not been groomed.
Trail 1 North of West Shore Resort is closed due to logging.
If you are out riding please use caution, wet spots can come up quickly.

U.P. Thunder Riders of Watersmeet Groomers Report:

Groomers went out today and probably again on Friday the 29th. They are still not on a regular grooming schedule, we still need more snow for that to happen. The word from riders is the trails are riding good so that is good news.

THINK SNOW!

PLEASE STAY ON MARKED TRAILS RIDING ON UNMARKED TRAILS CAN RESULT IN THE CLUB LOSING EASEMENT OF THAT TRAIL AND YOU POSSIBLE GETTING A TICKET…..

Pro Vintage Race December 30th at the Gogebic County Fair Grounds.
