TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – 2/11
I woke up this morning to a temperature of 7 degrees. It’s now 43!! That’s just not right for February!! I found some people out getting a ride in before it was to late. Also, love to see the future riders out making memories. Trails were getting thin in some spot but were still good in others as you can see in the pictures.
Let hope this warm up doesn’t last long and we can salvage some of that base. Don’t give up, keep doing your snow dances. We still what to ride!

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> After a chilly start to the morning, temperatures will climb decently on this Sunday. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny. Clouds increase tonight, and snow is likely late tonight into Monday morning. Accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are likely in eastern upper and northwest lower Michigan, with an inch or less in northern lower Michigan. Thanks to Mike, Blake, Dave and Jeff for volunteering your time. They all report excellent conditions. The groomers will be out again tonight so keep an eye out for them.
