Traverse City Trail Report – 02/04

TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – 2/4

I rode our trail system today and over all it was in decent condition. The snow thins out the further South you go and then you will hit some snirt in the corners but the trails held up fairly well through the warm up we had yesterday. The North trail was in the best condition. With snow in the forecast Wednesday thru Thursday this could be a great weekend to ride. We are still running a full groomers schedule.

TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Blue Sky Rentals – 2/3

9 sleds left for a 4 hour ride this morning. Big group from Florida who come up annually. They said it was really good overall. Obviously we’d like to have more snow in the parking lot and road sides but once you get in the woods and in the heart of the trail they are not too bad. Snow expected later this week in some of the forecasts and not so much in others. Come on Mother Nature, it’s winter! Let it snow –
