Traverse City Trail Report – TC WebGuide – 01/07
Trails are currently thin. Snow and rain mix in the immediate forecast with the Big Lake Effect Snow event starting late Saturday. Heavy lake effect snow expected early next week. <> Grand Traverse Snowmobile Club – 1/7 Everything was groomed Monday and Tuesday. A lot of spots were still thin not giving the groomers much to work with. While other areas turned out good. We have parked the groomers and are waiting for more snow. A little warm up forecasted with a rain snow mix until Saturday night, then cold arctic air dumps in changing everything to snow. Heavy LES is forecasted along with a couple of minor system snows Sunday through next Thursday. By this time next week we should be looking good and hopefully have the groomers running daily !
