Newberry Trail Report – 01/21

Snow showers expected this week and cold temps.

Trail #9 is in good condition, about 6′ in town and more as you go North. Joe groomed yesterday afternoon and saw about 180 sleds. On the return trip Doug only saw 6 sleds and the trail has had time to set up nicely.

Trail #45 is plowed from Skyline Road to the north 3 miles for logging. This area is very icy with large dips please be careful. This trail is in good condition other than that.

Trail #9/2 to Epoufette/ Trout is in fair condition, as they did not get the snow like there is north. The snow is powdery. We are sending a groomer Toward Rexton and will groom as far as possible.

THE NORTH STORE ON CO. RD. 407,WILL BE OPEN THIS YEAR.

The curfew for the Village of Newberry is 11:00 P.M. until 7:00 A.M.

FYI: There will not be gas at Rainbow Lodge as they are closed due to the Duck Lake fire. There is a gas pump logo on the trail map, but they will be CLOSED.
