Traverse City Trail Report – Snowblitz Snowmobile Rentals – 12/11

We’ll here we are December 11th and the winter season is shaping to be a great one for snowmobiling.

Trails opened on December 1st with little coverage. Now we are getting good snow 3-4′ over past 2 or 3 days.

The groomers have not been out yet, as volunteer trail cleanup and updated signage is still taking place. Since snow base is thin I would wait a little longer before going riding, I know plenty of locals have been out, however, stumps and debris under snow would be risky.

We are pumped for a good riding season, wrap up that Christmas shopping pronto and get you sled tuned up or just online and make a reservation for a rental from Snowblitz.

Have a great day and Happy Holidays. from Brett and the Snowblitz crew

Ontonagon Trail Report – Scott’s Superior Inn – 12/11

Winter has arrived in the Ontonagon area – we have between 12-30" of snow on the ground.

Trails are being groomed daily, there are a few minor wet spots, but for the most part the trails are great, with very light traffic.

These are the best early conditions we’ve seen in years.
