Groomer operations on the Trailriders system has been stopped.

We hope this system snow will allow us to get back out and bring the trails to the conditions you would expect from our grooming team.

Please be considerate of private land owners when you make your decision to ride.

This is the Keweenaw Snowmobile Trail System Report for Monday, February 29, 2016.

Snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open. The groomers are out and trails are in fair to very good condition.

There is a re-route on Trail #133. Please watch for the signsl.

Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails, they have the right of way!!

There is active logging on Trail #120 and on part of the Bill Nicholls Trail. PLEASE STAY ON THE TRAIL IN THESE AREAS! It is for your safety as well as the loggers.

The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the trails are there for riders’ safety. Please DO NOT remove or destroy these signs. Please keep out of the Houghton City RV Park or we will no longer have access to this area of the trail.
