Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 03/25 – UPDATED

4:OO PM UPDATE: Today’s sunshine and mild temps are doing a number on all that snow that made the trails such fun earlier. Seeing dirt showing along the trail, as well as water holes. Tomorrow will definitely be the last of any kind of riding from this spring storm.

<><><><>

Gaylord-Waters area ended up with ten to eleven inches of new snow from the most recent winter storm.
Riders have been out and report good riding. Trails are not groomed but there is plenty of snow for some fun rides.
Temps are warming back up as the weekend winds down so it won’t be around for long.
Enjoy your last rides!

Harbor Springs Trail Report – 03/24

C’mon up Friday morning lets ride. Spring Snow is here!

As of 7:30 this AM we had about 8 inches of powder. Snowed all day and as of 8PM we have received 10 to 12 inches

Rating of fair because roads and shoulders are all snow covered.

Trails were bare before snow came and some landowners gates may be closed but at this point we are not aware of any.

Riding is possible but there is no base so rocks and ruts are a reality. There will likely be some wet areas as well.

Watch for branches across trail.
