Grooming Report 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016

Windy 14 degrees with 2-3 inches of snow forecast tonight.
All trails are resulting in great to excellent condition after grooming.

If heading out 422 to Miner’s Castle watch for tire rutts after turning North onto Miner’s Castle Road. It has been groomed perfectly but we have been having a repeated issue with cars and trucks trying to drive out there and getting stuck after grooming.

Munising Trail Report. We have approximately 24 inches of snow for base on the ground; more in some spots and little less in others. We are predicted to continue to have low temps for the next few days. Grooming is underway and all trails are being groomed. Trails are in good to excellent condition. If you plan on riding this week it needs to be tomorrow and Thursday as the rest of the week doesn’t look so pretty good. Not sure how much we’re going to lose but it could be sizeable with Friday’s temp approaching 50 degrees with the possibility of liquid precipitation. We’ll have to wait and see what conditions are like after this weekend’s ridus interruptes.

Many thanks to the Osborne’s for the care package that they left behind for our housekeeper and us and also a shout out to Brad who dropped off some cow and pig on his way through, the porterhouse didn’t make it past Sunday Brad.

Our weekly scheduling meeting is on Wednesday and this one looks more like a pizza fest than a meeting thanks to Ohio Dave’s 50 bucks that he left last week.

We will update again on Monday with a damage report.
