HI ALL! We have gotten anywhere from 8-16″ over the last few days now! We had some LE snow, and then a Clipper, and then more LE and another Clipper and so on! Lots of fresh snow but last I heard from the groomers they still said it was not enough to pan and fill but I am guessing soon? They say when conditions are ready they will let us know! Fingers crossed. IF you do head out, remember it is still early season riding out there! You HAVE to WATCH out for ruts and limbs and debris so be careful! Keep up the snow dance that our season is starting! Thanks for the email Jeff & Rick! Seeya on the trails!

Snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open but are in early season condition. Groomers are out panning trails and clearing hazards. More snow is needed.
Any trail usage should be done with extreme caution as there are some low snow cover areas and there are rocks, branches, wet areas and hazards that have not been identified.
The Portage Lift Bridge is open for snowmobile traffic. The mat is not down yet.
Trail 124, 132W and 133 are temporarily closed for logging.
Remember when you’re out on the trails to watch out for the groomers. They have the right away.
The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, drive safely. The signs on the trail are there for riders’ safety so please DO Not remove or destroy them.
Good morning Kruppers! Did ya know we have had measurable snows everyday since the 5th of Dec except the on the 10th? That’s right another 3.3 yesterday and we are expecting a bigger dump as we speak! And to think is was raining and 50 on the first with no snow on the ground! I think is going to be an awesome year of sledding! Stay tuned for more snow total updates from Kruppys back yard here at SNOW central Have a great weekend!
