Cadillac Area Trail Report – 12/11

Sunday, December 11, 2016

Snow Accumulation: 6-16 inches

Cadillac West area has 6-8 inches with snow continuing to fall while Boon north has considerably more snow.

Just received a call from one of our groomers who lives in the Harrietta area reporting she has 18 inches in her yard. She rode toward Mesick this morning and found the trails to be fine. The photos were taken during that ride.

Total Accumulation: 3-5 inches

We were all hoping the area forecast of 6-12 inches by Saturday morning would materialize but sadly it didn’t. It seems other areas were much luckier than us but we hope we can keep what we have and build on it over the next few days as scattered showers and low temps are in the forecast. Our groomer workshop is going on now as the operators are at the barns going over the groomers making final tweaks on the tractors and drags hoping to put them to work soon.
