Hello- groomers have been out and tractor is repaired . Cadillac Winter Promotions volunteer groomers are out in full force and getting trails in shape for a busy weekend. Expecting big crowds again this weekend and weather should be ideal.
I will have the corral open and serving drinks on Saturday , along with the bonfire burning . Come out and say hi !
We have a pop-up concert in the bar Saturday night , with Michigan native and Nashville musician Myron Elkins performing . There is no door cover , but asking for a Honor Cover for Myron .. It is always special when a national act comes into the bar and shares his/her talent . You will want to catch this show , starting at 9 PM in the bar.
THINK SNOW & RIDE RIGHT ! Please plan ahead when seeing groomers and look for an area to pull off trail. It is deep , so plan accordingly.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Precip will gradually taper through the evening. Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Additional icing across the area appears less likely today with only a glaze of ice possible for some areas. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. A few thunderstorms cannot be ruled out as well. This could lead to dangerous conditions for those without power or a safe source of heat. Does anyone have any information that would explain why Antrim County was excluded from the the governor’s State of Emergency? Are there any numbers showing ice accumulation for Antrim as compared to surrounding areas?
