12/30 Snowmobile trails are being groomed as scheduled and are in fair to good shape with some snirt. Weather forecast is for slight chance of snow with very, very cold temperatures the remainder of the week. Happy New Year!

12/27 Hello Sledders,

Just a quick update for the rest of this weekend and early next week from the non-grooming part of this team. The grooming part is totally under the weather.

Had a report from the rest of the grooming crew. Trails are being groomed as scheduled and are in good shape.

Temps will warm into the mid 30’s tomorrow. Skies are to be cloudy. The warmer temps will not harm the trails any. A little moisture will do some good. Temps will drop off Sunday through next week with snow here and there.

At Fay’s Motel enjoy direct access to the Grayling Area snowmobile trails.

We had a lot of sore people in the dining room this morning. Trails were rough riding yesterday. No groomers were seen. I just came home from town (2 pm) and was very sad to see trail 7 all the way was rough, rough, rough.

Mike got on the phone with the DNR. We have an explanation. Both groomers broke down… and parts are coming in today. DNR reports they should be back out on the trails later today!
