Well I just got my fingers thawed out enough to type this report…We’ve got sunshine outside but we’re still at 4 below and it’s almost noon. This morning’s thermometer read -22 and if we’re lucky we could see 14 degrees. All this sun translates to a 0% chance for snow today. Looks like we could see a little light snow and a warm-up to around 20 the next couple days. We did get another 2-3′ of snow over the weekend. Trails are staying flat and smooth thanks to the cold, so it wasn’t necessary to groom the woods last night. We’ll be out grooming the woods tonight and the conditions continue as superior. Riders were out all weekend but today is very quiet. Enjoy the sunshine and please check back tomorrow for the latest on IR trail conditions!
Base: 13 inches
Snowfall Past 24 hours: 2 inches

We are entering the last official month of sledding season, but I truly believe that riding in April (or May) is not a possibility, but a certainty.
Trails are really in fantastic shape again. We have everything flat hard and have most of the areas even the big curves widened out nicely. We somehow got a few decent sized rollers out on the RR Grade in certain areas. They are long enough for the groomer to drive down into so we are having a heck of a time getting rid of them since the base is so hard. Its gonna be a work in progress, but gonna have to live with them for the most part for the time being. Heck they may even be kinda fun to ride at speed.
It was a cold one out for sure, but it seemed like everyone enjoyed the Ice Chip Golf out on Lake Huron. Cheboygan Brewing Co. provided a great product to get everyone into the golfing mood.
So, I don’t wanna have to point this out, but there are only 4 official sledding weekends left. Pick your dates and make your plans – spring will be here (in like 3 months).
