Newberry Trail Report – Halfway Lake Resort – 03/09

Riders over the weekend used "awesome," "beautiful," and "perfect" to describe the trails and how little traffic they are seeing. With excellent trails and over 3 feet of snow on the ground we have perfect conditions for just about everyone’s preference- trail riding to boondocking. Last year we had good conditions through the end of the month! Trails are open until March 31st and TASA groomers will continue to run through 3/31 as long as there is snow. After that, they say it is up to the state of MI if they can continue to groom.

Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 03/07

Trails are in tip top condition. This is a great time to come north to enjoy trails that are fun riding and not have the crowds of riders. This week there have been just a few out there. They have loved their rides.

March can be the best riding. Many people have tired so there are not as many coming north. The trails however are in awesome condition and stay that way.

Temps are starting to moderate so you don’t have to deal with the bitter cold. Come stay with us at Rays Retreat where you can enjoy a hot breakfast to start your day. We are located directly on trail 7 south of Gaylord. We do have rooms available this weekend. 989-732-2703
