Still mild with periods of light rain today. Changes begin late today, and especially tonight, as cold air begins to filter into the region. This will result in a gradual changeover to snow through this evening, with periods of mostly light snow continuing right through Wednesday. Some light accumulations will occur, especially across Eastern Upper and the snow belts of Northern Lower Michigan. Watch for the development of snow covered and slippery roads going through the overnight.

Since it’s technically Fall until December 21st we’re not going to get too wound up about it raining outside. If we can survive today it looks like we’ll be rewarded tomorrow.

The temperature is supposed to drop and stay below freezing the next several days. Snow is in the forecast! Predictions aren’t calling for much accumulation but I say let’s just wait and see. We’ve been surprised many times this last month. Check back tomorrow for another update!
