So much for six inches of fresh snow. We only had about 2 to 3 inches of new snow yesterday, yet still trails are holding incredibly well for what we have. There is snow in the forcast for the next 5 days but then after that its supposed to get warm and its going to be time to start on the off trail riding. With the warm temps predicted next week we will head downhill fast.

March 4, 2015 – Conditions: Excellent

We didn’t get the 3-6 inches of snow the weatherman was calling for yesterday–instead we got sleet and a little snow. The trails remain in excellent condition and are groomed every day. It appears we can get another weekend of great riding in. You never know this time of year.

February 25, 2015 – Conditions: EXCELLENT–Finally!!!!!!

Just got a call from our Trail Coordinator and he informed me it’s time to bump up our trail conditions rating. That’s the best news we’ve had all season. We’ve probablly picked up an additional inch or two since yesterday’s posting so it’s safe to say we have gotten 6-7 inches in the last 24 hours with lots of drifting.

33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery

Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.
