MUNISING AREA UPDATE…. A winter weather advisory has been posted for Luce county starting at 7 pm this evening and ending 7 pm Thursday. Areas North of M-28 could see 4-7″ of snow in that time frame.

Western U.P. Snowmobile Report

The Gogebic Range Trail Authority is reporting trail 2 from Ironwood to Wakefield has been rolled. There is still much water and mud. The GRTA plans to continue to roll the trails but as you travel east and south the snow tapers off.

Lake Gogebic Area Groomers we have no report.

Watersmeet U.P. Thunder Riders are reporting the trails are officially open, ride with caution! There is only about 3-5 inches of snow on our trail system and that is not enough to get the groomers out. As soon as we get more snow we will be able to get out and start packing a base.
