Cadillac Area Trail Report – Visit Cadillac – 01/27

This photo were taken during the Bristol/Pine River groom last night. A special thanks to the groomers who send us this photo. There is a lot of truth to the adage “a picture is worth a thousand words.” We can tell you about trail conditions but showing you a current photo is so much more accurate.

Coyote Crossing Resort – Beautiful snow yesterday!! About 5′ of heavy, wet snow. Was able to XC ski with our dog and go for an evening snowmobile ride. The trails were good! Although, be aware of downed branches (from the heavy snow). Pete’s out grooming now!

Conditions: Good

We didn’t get much if any new snow in the last 24 hours. However, temps have remained below freezing and we appreciate that. Sure would like some more snow though. What a crazy winter this has been so far!

Conditions: Good

Our recent snowfall is packing nicely and helping to rejuvenate the trails after some heavy weekend traffic and warm temps. The forest roads are holding up nicely for us while the narrow trails remain thin and snirty in areas. There is still plenty of good riding to be had in the area and the groomers are out there trying to stay on top of things.

Just received a report from the groomer who groomed the Boon to Mesick/Yuma area today. She reported the trails are excellent in that area HOWEVER, there are branches and limbs in the trail and she urges you to use caution when riding. She got out of the groomer 21 times today to remove debris from the trail during her groom. It is extremely helpful to the groomers if riders lend a hand and help remove debris from the trail when it is safe to do so. Please don’t put yourself or others at risk but lend a hand if you can.
