WoW… What a LOT of traffic over the weekend! It was nice to see the amount of people that were out enjoying our beautiful trail system. We have been out in full force from all 3 barns. That’s 6 sections of the trail system in 1 days work. The trails are shaping up nice! We finally have some snow to work with. There are a few sections of trail that just do not get the snow accumulation, simply due to the canopy not allowing the snow to hit the ground. This can allow for icy spots, especially in the corners.
Please STAY ON TRAIL !!! I have personally seen where people decided to “Boon-Dock” in someone’s hay crop! As tempting as it is, WE The RIDER Must be respectful of the Trail System as a whole, keeping the adjacent property owners INCLUDED in that respect !!! Be Safe, Have Fun.

CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort – 01/17
Well, people are definitely riding around in our area, but conditions vary WIDELY between areas. You can be on dirt/mud on our access trail and be in great snow on forest roads and trails from Boon to Mesick. Forest roads around Olga Lake/Bristol are still good. I have not heard of any grooming restart yet, but there will have to be some damage control done soon. Biggest thing with agitating this marginal base, is we need cold temps and mild traffic to follow, or things might get worse. I will reach out to Winter Promotions Trail Boss and confirm his thoughts on topic.
We are open for carry-out and outside seating today (Sunday) and tomorrow starting at noon. Planning to close at 9pm Sunday and 8pm Monday. Thanks to those that came out for some Live Music/Food/Fires last night in corral … Fun time, considering all the circumstances this year. THINK SNOW, Pete
*****Grooming Update! Guys are going out today (Sunday) to do some damage repair and then try and flatten again tomorrow (Monday) after most have gone home.
We cannot overgroom right now, with these conditions, but rest assured They are being worked on as much as makes sense. Colder temps this week should help!
