CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort >> 12/29
Power is Restored & itβs Snowing Hard!
Trail Conditions: Fair to Good; Base: 1-2″ New Snow Last 24 Hrs: 4-6″
Thankfully, our power is back on & Coyoteβs Restaurant will open at 4 p.m. today! Weather has drastically changed from 35 degrees and rain yesterday, to near blizzard conditions today. Weβre excited to say weβve received 4-6″ of snow so far today, with temps in the low 20βs, and itβs snowing very hard as we speak! 6-9″ of snow is predicted for this storm, with more expected midweek!
Downed trees/limbs and possible water spots will be a struggle initially on the trails, but I expect groomer drivers and volunteers alike to clear the trails as soon as we can. Ride with extreme caution, as I know there are many obstacles in our trail system. Expect icy conditions under this new snow. Hopefully groomers will be getting out in the next 24 hours.
Come on out to Coyote and celebrate the end of Pete & Julieβs run as owners/managers, on New Yearβs Eve! And welcome Kaylyn & Karson Kyhnell as the new leaders of the βCoyote familyβ. Hereβs a link to dinner reservations and live music for Dec. 31st: https://coyotecrossingresort.com/live-music/
Myron Elkins with Billy Gunther will be performing 9-11:30pm on NYE, $10 Cover charge. Doors open for this at 9pm, if youβre not joining us for dinner.
