SENEY AREA UPDATE via Seney Snowmobile Association – 02/13
The SSA needs your help setting up for the 20th Annual Vets Ride. If you’ll be up in the Seney area on Saturday Feb 24, 2024. We could us a hand setting up for the 20th Annual Vets Ride. We have to set up all the tables and chairs. Clean out the Big Red Barn and a few extra things around there. If you can lend us a hand it would be greatly appreciated. More hands equal less work. We’d like to get this all done on Saturday the 24th if possible.
It take a small village to set this all up. If you can lend a hand please let us know. We look forward to doing this event for the Veterans year after year.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Bitterly cold temperatures will hang on through tonight as wind chill values remain below zero across the U.P., coldest in the west near the WI border. Light snow will accompany the front but generally less than an inch is expected. Behind the front temperatures will fall into the single digits above and below zero. This combined with gusty winds will bring wind chills down into the teens and twenties below zero. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for Gogebic and Iron counties tonight through Saturday morning. Lake effect snow will develop behind the front in the northwest wind snowbelts with several inches expected.
