Seney Trail Report – 04/02

Hello Everyone!

The grooming season is officially over, the trails are still in very good shape, you can still ride the marked trails that are on state land which is all of Seney, we are expected some more snow this week so there is still good riding to be had for another week or so if you wish to come up and enjoy our area!
Our club President, Marc Schooley, Vice President Randy Murphy and myself, you’re Treasurer/Secretary/Trail Conditions Reporter/Facebook Pro, etc. would all like to thank all of you riders, business owners/supporters for all of you’re kind words and understanding in this first year of us taking over this awesome snowmobile association! We had some ups and downs this year but I believe with the feedback we received we did an unbelievable job this year, we continued to have some of the best trails in the state and we look forward to many years to come, bringing smiles to all of you’re faces! This year is an exciting year as we will be introducing our summer maintenance program into effect where we will be brushing/grading the trails throughout the summer so there will be flat trails up here in Seney for the ATV’s which will in turn keep the the trails nice and hopefully rut free by the time winter returns later this year!

The 2018 Motorcycle Vet Ride, taking place on June 2nd is our next event, you can reserve you’re spot now so please if you can don’t wait until the last minute to let Diane know if you are attending!

Thanks again! Hope to see all of you soon!

-Randy Dunn

Seney Trail Report – 03/31

We groomed Trail 43/8 to the Bear Trap last night, we received approximately an inch to an inch and a half of fresh snow, there were a few water holes and with the fresh snow the bare spots are pretty much covered up, everything is flat and there are very few moguls, it’s still snowing, expecting another 5-8” of snow today, tonight would be the last night we can officially groom, it’s supposed to remain cold this week so riding should be pretty good well into April!
