Yee Hah, Lets Make Winter Great Again…

Another 3 inches of lake effect overnight and I am heading out shortly to ride. Groomers running out by starvation lake, (yesterday that I know of) so I am heading that way and going to try south to Cranberry trail and see how that is.

A nice chilly 10 degrees this morning. I was supposed to be riding with Herb from Ohio my old friend from down there. He actually drove all the way up from down by Columbus to ride with me today but had an emergency and had to go back home this morning. To bad cause we lucked out and got snow so we could do it.

He is in the picture with the sleds taken out front of here yesterday. I called Ohio Brian who is on his way down here now and we are going to ride together seeing that John Brockmiller hasn’t made it in yet either. SHH don’t tell anyone where I am planning on riding. I think we will do well thru tomorrow. Alberta Clipper forcasted for next Thursday, will we luck out again? I talked to 3 guys down at the Frederic Inn yesterday that had rode over here from Lewiston and another guy let me know he had rode up to the bridge yesterday too. I will do a live stream video somewhere along the way today. Pictures today are 3 of them from yesterday and the one of my truck I took before I left home this morning. Checked motels this morning and there were 3 trailers at Motel 72 and zero at the other motels. I checked with Grayling Groomer last night and they are not planning on riding….head north and west of Frederic to ride. MO MO NAH CHEE CHEE NAH….Thanks for checking in. It’s nice and white out there. Currently 24 degrees in Frederic, I think what we have here will last us thru Saturday, then the warmth is supposed to be back.

Right now for those that can get out there will be the best.

A friend told me there were several sleds at the gas station here in Frederic this morning about 8 when she came thru. Just talked to a guy up at lakes of the north that said they had a great ride last night to starvation lake and the groomer had been out between The Settings and the Hide Away.

There still has to be a lot of water and mud down below all this but its certainly 150% better than yesterday morning at 10 a.m. There was one sled parked outside the Ramada this morning, I think that guy must have rode there cause there were no trucks or trailers there. I am still waiting to see my first sled here yet today and its now 10::50 a.m. So if you do make it out be careful. On a different note a friend of mine passed away on the 28th. Still a comedian to the end he had a long and good life. I went in to visit him about 2 weeks ago and he told me he thought he was losing his sight. I asked him if I looked skinny and he instantly said no. I told him there was nothing wrong with his sight. George Maytn sharp as can be at 105 years old. Thanks for checking in.
