Mushy is what we ended up with on the trails after yesterdays warm up. Gonna be a little warm today too but then snow coming back starting tuesday. Sled traffic was pretty steady all day but as things got softer sleds slowed down Just got a message from the Indiana crew who stopped in yesterday morning as they headed up for the bridge. As I told them before they left it should be a good ride up but a rough ride back and they agreed. Trails were great in the morning but rough later on. But hey at least they made the trip.

Hoping for the snow and cold temps to come back like the weatherman says for tues, wed and thursday…… PIcs below are from yesterday. Frederic Inn was packed all day with sleds and they were parked in spots I havent seen used before. Even surrounding the dumpster at the gas station unless they were supposed to be going to the dump.

My buddy Big John rode is on a big trip where he left Frederic the other day and made it up to the Soo on his sled and then left there for Munising. It will be interesting to see how his ride back goes. Still a nice long sled ride…

It’s still great out there, last night I rode up to starvation lake for dinner.. passed one groomer and still everything is great. Sleds in and out this morning and its going to be another great weekend. Ran into Steve and Karen on the trail from Florida yesterday and the other pic below is a ski doo that looks alot like the one missing from a couple weeks ago. I wish I could ride again today. Still a lot of untouched powder from the snow we had earlier in the week.

I checked out the storage area this morning and was actually kind of shocked at the mess I had down there so I went down with the plow and cleaned it up some. I thought I had it taken care of and didn’t realize that much snow had filled it up again. Its getting close to time for me to get a loader in there to pile up the snow…
