HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/03
Mother Nature is finally giving us a winter!!
𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 (𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝟳) – Groomed on Thursday night & overall is in good shape, the snow gets thinner towards Mackinaw.
𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 (𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗻: 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝟳𝟭, 𝟳𝟭𝟳, & 𝟳𝟭𝟭) – Groomed on Thursday night. The water hole behind the barn is still not completely frozen so use caution in that area. Overall in good shape, the snow gets thinner in the Alanson area.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Light snow chances linger today, mainly across eastern Upper Michigan, with highs in the mid to upper 30s to low 40s. Just a couple weeks ago it was lake effect snow every single day. Today, a light band of 1-3" near Munising is all we will need to write home about. We even tossed in some humor for those not in a designated snowfall zone. A couple slick spots will pop up along M-28 near Munising, and perhaps around Petoskey if a longer lake effect band happens to form, but this is more unlikely than likely.

Josh groomed 76 to 765 then to trail 7 the railroad grade. From there he went to Weber Lake on 765 and 76. Then groomed 76 back to Chandler Hill Road. #petoskey #snowphotos

Overall the trails are in good shape but we really need some fresh snow. Warmer temperatures are on the way for this weekend which will really take a toll on the conditions & the ability to groom.
