Ironwood Trail Report – Gogebic Range Trail Authority – 02/19
Tuesday 2/19 10:00am CST: Best trail conditions of the past 3-4 years continues this week with more snow forecast and perfect temps. We lost about 12 hours to groomer break downs this past weekend, but both are fixed up and running. With all the fresh snow it has been tough for the trails to set up or for groomers to reach down into the trail base and cut the bumps. However both groomers have been running non-stop since Sunday/Saturday night to get the trails back flat before the next storms fill them up again. Trail base is so deep we have had to start cutting trees leaning over the trail that a month ago we were 24″ below, we’re not scraping them!
