Ironwood Trail Report – Gogebic Range Trail Authority – 02/25

These images (below) are from our Club President at his house in Wakefield, MI. We plan to hook rollers up this afternoon and head out breaking trails open. We continue to dig ourselves out from the 18-24" + of snow that has been whipped into incredible drift lines.

Riding is NOT recommended until we can get trail road crossings opened up and trails cut back in. Most roads have a 4-7′ bank and most trails have 2-6′ drifts across them causing many riders to get stuck on the trails. March riding is going to be incredible!

Ironwood Trail Report – Gogebic Range Trail Authority – 02/23

All of our trail system was groomed yesterday and overnight thanks to a crew of 6 all volunteer operators. They ran from 4am Friday to 730am Saturday. We focused on cutting corner moguls and flattening trails before the next 12"-18" falls through Monday. Trails haven’t been this good in a long time. The snowmobile season is young, be sure to book March trips with our sponsors like AJ’s Walleye Lodge on Lake Gogebic or chalet/home rentals through Sasquatch Lodge Vacation Rental, Snow Chaser’s Lodging LLP, Big Powderhorn Lodging
