ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via NORTH COUNTRY SNOWMOBILE CLUB – 02/06
All 3 groomers were out all night trails 1, 12, 13, 101, and 137 were groomed and in great shape thanks to the groomer operators Steve, Kurtis, Josh, And Veto. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO VETO Thank you for grooming on your birthday

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Blizzard conditions persist today for central and eastern Upper Michigan, while snowfall lessens in the west. Winds are expected to increase this morning, potentially peaking near 50 for large portions of the region. >60 mph winds are possible by Lake Superior. Not a single set of sled tracks...trails are setting up nicely with this snow and colder temps.

Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
