ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP – Trail Update:

The guys were out last night and groomed most of the trail system. The trails are in very good to excellent condition.

The groomer operators were finally able to go down some parts of the Trail 12 ditch section along Norwich Rd and smooth out the moguls. We will keep working on that area. I rode that ditch Monday. Be cautious, there are a few narrow spots with water holes.

Unfortunately, it is going to get warm for the next 24-48 hours. We WILL NOT be out grooming tonight. Ride with caution and watch out for the wet areas and low spots. With this warm-up, they may open back up on us.

We will be replacing the worn tracks on the Pisten Bully today.

If the forecast holds, we will be back out on Thursday night setting trail for the week-end.

ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP – Trail Update:

We hit all 110 miles yesterday! Should be great out there! Big thanks to Tom B., Randy L., and Andrew P., for a long night and job well done!

Trail #1 from White Pine to Lake of the Clouds is in very good condition. The ice bridge is holding up nicely.

Trail #12 from White Pine to Ontonagon is in very good condition. Most of the ditch trail along Norwich Road is ridable.

Trail #137 from Ontonagon to Trail #13 is in very good condition.

Trail#12 from Ontonagon to Greenland is in very good condition. The warm weather has started to open up the water area just east of Woodspur Road, use caution.

Trail #101 from Potato Farm to Trail #13 is in very good condition.

Trail #13 from 101 to Rockland is in very good condition.

It’s going to be warm the next couple days. Grooming may be dicey, back out for sure Thursday night. We will post conditions right here.
