ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP​ –

Trail Update:

Thanks to our Trail Warrior Andrew NCSC trails are flat and wide!

The Pisten Bully is still out on Trail #12 between Ontonagon and White Pine so be on the lookout for him!

All NCSC trails we’re groomed last night with the exception of Trail #11N.

Trails groomed:

Trail #1N from White Pine to Lake of the Clouds.
Trail #12 from White Pine to Ontonagon.
Trail #12 from Ontonagon to Greenland.
Trail #137 from Ontonagon to Rockland.
Trail #13 from Rockland to Trail #101.
Trail #101 from Trail 13 to Trail 12.

Signage has been buried and knocked down by plowing operations, please use caution when approaching any perceived crossings!!

ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP​ –

Trail Update:

All 109 miles of the NCSC trail system have been cleared and are ridable! Greg put some unbelievable hours in the seat this week to make it happen.

We will commence regular grooming operations tonight.

The trails are far more narrow than you are used to here so please ride with caution. We will begin to rewiden them with every grooming run.

Get up here and ride da 906!

Trail Update – We have managed to clear all 109 miles of trail, but many trails will be narrow until we get back out and resume normal grooming. We have also "lost" much of our signage. It is buried under drifts or snowbanks or knocked down by snowplows. It will be great riding, but you MUST take responsibility for yourselves until we get everything back in place! SLOW DOWN, ride right, practice a little situational awareness and stop at all plowed roads.
