ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP – 01/30
Sad night for North Country Snowmobile Club UP. Our New Holland quad track started on fire 7 miles up Lake of the clouds and is a total loss. Thank God the driver is fine. We put up signs and caution tape so you can drive around it. PLEASE STAY OUTSIDE OF CAUTION TAPE.
The entire trail system was groomed tonight; except for the last mile of Lake of the clouds.
Thank to Jason, our mechanic, for his quick response to rescue the driver with our club snowmobile.

It's almost a carbon copy of today. Ice totals, however, are primarily a concern for the Upper Peninsula.
