ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP
Calling for another foot tonight, groomer Mikey and Mac were out grooming the porkies trail 11, trail 1 trail 12, trail 101 and part of trail 13 until we had a hydraulic line blow, it’s off the trail and hopefully will be fixed by tomorrow, with all the fresh snow the trails are getting bumpy fast

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Blizzard conditions persist today for central and eastern Upper Michigan, while snowfall lessens in the west. Winds are expected to increase this morning, potentially peaking near 50 for large portions of the region. >60 mph winds are possible by Lake Superior. Not a single set of sled tracks...trails are setting up nicely with this snow and colder temps.

Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
