LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 02/12
Good evening everyone. Your Monday February 12th update from the Bergland crew.. Unfortunately not much has changed. We’ve had flurries on and off all day and temp’s are back to more seasonal for this time of year. There’s a chance for system snow towards the end of the week but we’ve heard that all season.. Wish we had better news but at this point for the 23/24 season this winter is a complete bust.
We will continue to have machines and operator’s ready should we get a significant snowfall. Gogebic Area Grooming ❄️❄️❄️( All pictures are from today. 2-12-24)

WEATHER UPDATE via Michigan Storm Chasers >> Snow and ice return tonight, and continue through midday April 4th, 2026. Snow totals will be the highest yet again into the Keweenaw Peninsula. It's almost a carbon copy of today. Ice totals, however, are primarily a concern for the Upper Peninsula.
