Lake Gogebic Trail Report – 01/02
I will be trying to do weekly reports on our trails – today trail 1&8 across top of lake Gogebic very good shape – I continued on 13N for a short distance that also had been groomed recently . Trail 102N and trail 1 North from Bergland also looked very good. Trail 8 west from Bergland just fair – a little choppy . Trail 1 groomed to Presque but gets thin getting south of Marenisco. Trail 1 groomed from Marenisco to West Side resort where the trail ends for now – your choice to go further north is hop on lake and about 4 mi north is the Hoop where you can pick up trail system again.
The bad news is starting tomorrow temps will be mid to upper 30’s for several days. Pics 102 North and 1&8 East. …
