GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc.​

Trail report for 8 west, 888, and 88 west of M77. Trail was beat from all the traffic. Even a ton of traffic last night until about 10 PM. Cut, cut, and cut some more then smoothed it out. Should be great riding today. The group from Ohio that changed a belt on 8 west, thank you for taking it with you! Be smart, be safe! – Groomer Tom

Ran South run Saturday night 8, 88 and 443. Heavy traffic yesterday trail was beat up, 2 and 3 foot moguls in places but I got it all smooth back out. Be safe out there bubbleheads, been reading about to many accidents. Groomer Will

Snowed hard all night on 443 north on the Rhody
Creek Trail. If you like powder now is the time to get out there. Groomer Dan

Groomer Report: Went west. Trails are still pretty good but we got a lot of snow. At least 6-8in. And it’s still snowing and blowing. It’s fluffy and was drifted on the return trip and is sure to continue drifting as long as there’s wind. Stay safe out there ladies and gentleman. – Groomer Kevin.

Ran 8 east Thursday night, Trail was in good shape, a few bumps and the blizzard did arrive at about 5 pm. Lots of snowmobiles out riding this evening. Beware it is very windy so you are sure to see some drifted snow. Be safe out there. Groomer Will
