Groomer Report: Went north on trails 8, 888 & 88. Conditions are looking great. Jack and I evened out the corners on H58 from the visitors center out to the 8/89 split. Stay safe. – Groomer Kevin.

East Saturday night. Lots of sled heads on the trail. Good night to groom. Love cold weather grooming Moved a lot of snow with a minimum of effort. Great conditions. Groomer Dan

GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc.​

Groomed our west trail: 8, 89, 88. Excellent snow! Trail cleaned up great. Worked on drifts along 89 to widen trail out. Still a narrow, 12ft, spot or two. Watch out for on coming traffic and stay right.

Did our East run again on Thurs. The trail was moguled up a little more than yesterday. A few inside corners didn’t smooth out. Also got more of the downed debris pitched off the trail. So all trail 8 East towards Pine Stump is in Excellent shape. Groomer Phil

Groomer Report: West again tonight. Was in rough shape but much better now. Got it widened out a bit more. Stay safe. – Groomer Kevin.

Did the East run, Wed. With all the downed trees removed from the previous two nights and drifts now cut through… trail 8 is close to normal. The third day after the blizzard I was still finding sticks/logs embedded in the trail, use caution for a few more days, until we get them picked up. The good thing is the blizzard left a lot of powder to push around to make the trails flat and smooth. Come and Enjoy. I’d like to add a big thank you! to all the rider’s last night that reached into the cab for a quick hand shake. Much appreciated. Groomer Phil
