Grand Marais Trail Report – 03/08
GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – 3/8
Only 8 east was groomed last night (see Phil’s report). 8 west was only done to the split and the groomer decided it was way too wet and slushy to continue and turned around rather than do any other damage to the trail. No other trails were touched. Sorry folks. Can’t fight Mother Nature and it’s supposed to stay warm today and tomorrow. Not supposed to cool down until Monday night. So if you’re out be careful and slow down!!
From Phil-Saturday did 8 East. It was a warm sunny busy day. So lots and lots of moguls. Due to wet and sticky conditions, could only do light cutting and leveling. Expect a soft, banked and moguled trail.
